  • Bench experimental studies: collaboration with several groups on acute lung injury
  • Physiological studies in critically ill patients (respiratory mechanics, respiratory muscle activity, sleep, etc.)
  • Epidemiological studies on mechanical ventilation
  • Randomized clinical trials on mechanical ventilation
