Biography
Dr. Saito grew up in Japan where he studied medicine. Two years of volunteer work in Uganda led him to move to the US where he studied public health and later completed an infectious disease fellowship. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he worked as an intensivist while leading infection control at a university affiliated community hospital in Japan.
