Biography
Destaalem was born in Wukro, Northern Ethiopia. He completed medical school and received his medical degree in 2015 from Mekelle University, College of Health Sciences. He completed his residency program in 2019 and was awarded a specialty certificate in Anesthesiology from Addis Ababa University. He was an academician and clinician at Mekelle University where he led the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine, a specialty training in anesthesiology, and other projects.
