Bio
Dr. Dhar is a surgeon intensivist based at University Health Network, with a cross appointment to the Division of General Surgery and the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care. She completed medical school at Queen’s University in 2007, followed by training in general surgery at University of Toronto in 2012. Her fellowship in critical care was completed in 2014, also at the University of Toronto. She completed her MSc in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety through the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto in 2016. Her academic focus is in quality improvement and patient safety, specifically care transitions and communication.
