Bio
Dr. Lee completed her training in Respirology and Critical Care Medicine in 2011 at the University of Toronto and went on to complete the Education Scholars Program through the Center for Faculty Development.
She was the Fellowship Director for the UHN/SHS Critical Care Medicine Program from 2016-2022, and the Chair for the Assessment and Evaluation Portfolio for the Adult Critical Care Medicine Program at the University of Toronto from 2012-2025.
Dr. Lee has been a faculty member for the Canadian National ACES program since 2013 and is appointed to the Adult Critical Care Board of Examiners for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Lee is a member of the Canadian Critical Care Forum Organizational Committee and co-leads the Annual Fellows’ Day for the CCCF.
Her areas of scholarly interest include: curriculum development and program evaluation – in particular, bringing competency by design to critical care, developing assessment and feedback tools for trainee evaluations, and utilizing novel technology like simulation for education research and clinical teaching. She has led several quality improvement initiatives within the ICU with a focus on developing the intersection between simulation education and quality improvement.
