Wadiah Alawi Al Filfil

Dr. Al Filfil was born in a small city on the east coast of Saudi Arabia: Qatif. She has completed her MBBS & emergency medicine residency in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Then in 2016, she moved to Riyadh, the capital city, to work as an emergency medicine attendant in Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital, which is a 500-bed referral center for ECMO, medical, surgical & trauma cases.

Further, she completed a 2-year fellowship in critical care medicine at McMaster University in June 2020. She joined the University of Toronto for a one-year fellowship focusing mainly on ECLS, mechanical ventilation, echocardiography & research.
