Bio

Sebastian was born in the United States, but grew up most of his life in Switzerland. He earned his medical degree and his specializations in internal medicine and intensive care medicine from the University of Basel. While an attending in the interdisciplinary ICU in Basel, Sebastian also started his research career focusing on patient safety, quality and outcomes research. Lately, he has been dabbling in research around physiology, focusing on venous congestion and the use of POC ultrasound.
