Olivier Umuhire

Dr. Umuhire is originally from Rwanda. He graduated from the National University of Rwanda in 2009 with a medical degree, and continued with a 5-year residency in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care in 2018. He also completed a one-year fellowship in point-of-care ultrasound with the Ultrasound Leadership Academy (ULA, 2018), and served as faculty and program director for the Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Residency at the University of Rwanda. Subsequently, he has worked as Consultant in the ICU and Emergency Department at King Faisal Hospital, in Kigali.
