Bio
Born and raised in Tondo, Manila, Dr. Jonray Magallanes finished medical school at University of the Philippines, College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency training and pulmonary medicine training at the UP-Philippine General Hospital from 2013-2018, where he served as the chief fellow in his senior year.
He worked as an intensivist at St. Luke’s Medical Center – BGC, shortly after fellowship and throughout the COVID pandemic. He has been a lecturer of Physiology at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, and transferred practice to Davao City in Mindanao, Philippines. He hopes to elevate the practice of critical care medicine in the underserved regions of southern Philippines.
