Jan De Mey

Dr. Jan De Mey completed his MD degree and Respirology residency program at Ghent University, Belgium. Out of a special interest in physiology and the physiological derangements secondary to critical illness, he chose to pursue additional training in Critical Care Medicine. He moved to Toronto in 2025 to pursue a one year clinical fellowship at the UHN hospitals of Toronto, Ontario, to gain additional training in acute respiratory failure, ARDS, mechanical ventilation and extracorporeal life support.
