Bio
Dr. Ponomarev completed training in anesthesia and intensive care in Novosibirsk, Russia, in 2009. Since then he worked in a cardiac surgical program, where he combined clinical duties and research.
In 2012, he obtained his MSc in biostatistics from the University of Glasgow, which was followed by a PgCert in clinical research from the University College, Dublin, in 2015, and MSc in health technology assessment from the University of Glasgow, in 2018.
Following his interest in evidence-based medicine, Dr. Ponomarev completed the European Respiratory Society Fellowship in guidelines methodology in 2018. He has also served in a joint task force of the European Respiratory Society and European Society of Intensive Care Medicine for clinical practice guidelines.
