Bio
Dr. Diana Morales Castro completed her medical degree from Universidad de Costa Rica in 2011. She undertook her Anesthesia and Recovery specialty in the same university and completed it in February 2015. She subsequently started a Masters´ Degree in Perioperative Medicine from the University College of London.
After finishing her postgraduate training, she worked at a trauma hospital where she was the leader of anesthesia service for one year; during that time she worked with a multidisciplinary team to standardize the surgical pathway and created the first preoperative consult of anesthesiologists in Costa Rica.
