Biography
Dr. AL Filfil was born in a small city on the east coast of Saudi Arabia: Qatif. She has completed her MBBS & Emergency medicine residency in Al Khobar , Saudi Arabia. Then in 2016, she Moved to Riyadh; the capital city to work as an emergency medicine attendant in Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital which is a 500 beds referral center for ECMO, medical, surgical & trauma cases. She has completed a 2-year fellowship in critical care medicine from McMaster University in June 2020. She joined the University of Toronto to do a one-year fellowship focusing mainly on ECLS, mechanical ventilation, echocardiography & research.
