Biography
Dr. Tisminetzky was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He obtained his medical degree at Instituto Universitario Escuela de Medicina del Hospital Italiano in 2012. He then went on to complete his critical care residency at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires. In 2017, he was appointed chief of residents and clinical associate until he came to Toronto in 2019. His training in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety includes a Certificate Course from the Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (CQuIPS), and in 2023, he completed an MSc in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation, of the University of Toronto.
