Dr. Rodriguez is from Mexico. She graduated in medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez before moving to Mexico City to complete a Critical Care residency at Universidad Autónoma de Mexico – Hospital Español. She completed one year cardiopulmonary physiology training at the Instituto Nacional de Cardiología – Ignacio Chávez.
Later on, she moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to attend a Pneumonology residency at Universidad de Buenos Aires – Hospital Favaloro, focusing on lung transplantation.
