Biography
Dr. Julia Tejero Aranguren was born in Madrid. She completed her studies in Medicine at University of Alcalá de Henares, making two stays abroad during the last years of university, in Naples (Italy) and Bogotá (Colombia). She graduated in 2016 and moved to Granada where she completed her training in Intensive Care Medicine at Hospital Universitario San Cecilio in 2022.

During this period, she developed the Post-ICU Follow-up Program in the Unit and collaborated closely with the Post-ICU Syndrome National Task Force. She currently continues to work in this field on her doctoral thesis at the University of Granada.

In order to continue developing in the areas of Intensive Care that interest her most, in 2021 she completed stays at Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona and at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm. She has now moved to Toronto to continue her training with special predilection in ECLS and Echocardiography.
