Dr. Ghislaine Douflé

Dr. Ghislaine Douflé completed her Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine residency in 2011 in Paris, France. She subsequently enrolled in the Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship Program of the Toronto General Hospital. In 2013, she joined the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Medicine of the University of Toronto and is currently appointed as Education Lead of the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Toronto General Hospital. Dr Douflé is fully certified for transthoracic and transesophgeal echocardiography and is mentor for the EDEC (European Diploma of Echocardiography). She co-leads the critical care echocardiography curriculum in collaboration with Dr Goffi. Her main interest is in medical education and echocardiography with a special focus on extracorporeal life support (ECLS).
